Our school crest
Our school emblem depicts our school motto: ‘Growth in Christ’.
The cross on the left-hand side of the badge reminds us of St Andrew the Apostle who is the patron saint of our school. St Andrew was martyred in Patras on an X-shaped cross. The letters JMJ stand for Jesus, Mary and Joseph, who make up the Holy Family of Nazareth, referencing the founding congregation of our school.
The five stars are the Southern Cross, also called the Crux (Latin for cross) formed by its four brightest stars. Another symbol on our badge is the emu. Unable to walk backwards, emus inspires us to keep moving forward.
