Year 1 picture book party
Over the last few weeks, each year 1 class has come to the library for a picture book party.
The children enjoyed the story 'Feathers for Phoebe'.
After the story, the children danced the chicken dance and then made their own feather headband.
No party would be complete without some cake, so each child received a cupcake.
It was great that so many parents could join the fun!

Socktober Day was a big success! Thank you for your support in this Catholic Mission initiative. A big thank you to Mr Beggs who coordinated the soccer activities and the epic event of the day, which was the teachers versus year 6 students soccer game! Luke and Irene from Catholic Mission came to participate in the day and were impressed with the students' efforts. We have raised just over $700, which will go towards a community in need in Santa Teresa, Alice Springs. It's not too late to donate! World Teachers Day 2024 SAPS staff would like to thank the P&F and our school community for providing an AMAZING lunch to celebrate World Teachers Day! It was great to see our dedicated teachers take a break from marking and planning during the students playtime and sit together to share a meal. We are truly blessed to be part of such a beautiful school community. ππ»ππ»ππ»

Last Wednesday SAPS held our 2024 Book Week Parade. An awesome time was had by all! It was fantastic to see so our students dressed up in so many amazing costumes relating to their favourite book characters!
